Value Logistics (Value Group) has opened its 2026 Supply Chain Practitioner Learnership Programme for unemployed South African youth. This is a 12-month structured learnership designed to give participants real workplace experience and a nationally recognised qualification (NQF Level 5) in the logistics and supply chain industry.

WHAT THE PROGRAMME OFFERS
The Value Logistics learnership is a blended programme that includes:
✔ Classroom-based training covering supply chain theory and logistics processes
✔ Practical on-the-job experience in operational environments
✔ Exposure to real logistics workflows and workplace tasks
✔ Formal assessments throughout the year and a final EISA examination
✔ Monthly stipend to help with travel and participation expenses
This programme is ideal for young people who want to grow skills in logistics, warehousing, distribution, freight handling, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
LEARNERSHIP STRUCTURE
📘 Classroom Training: One week per month combining theoretical and practical concepts.
🏭 Workplace Experience: Remaining weeks spent in real logistical operations, working alongside teams in warehouses, supply chain hubs, and distribution centres.
⏰ Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 (possible overtime).
🎓 Assessment: Final EISA examination and workplace performance assessments.
💰 Stipend: A monthly training allowance to support learners during the programme.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To apply for the Value Logistics Learnership 2026, you must meet the following:
✔ Be a South African citizen
✔ Be unemployed and actively seeking work
✔ Matric (Grade 12) with a minimum pass rate of at least 50%
✔ Be between roughly 21 and 29 years old
✔ Be willing to commit to the full 12-month programme
✔ Be prepared to attend both classroom and workplace sessions
