Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) – 12 Months
Masoom Training Solutions is seeking highly motivated, recently qualified life science graduates to join its 2026 Learnership Programme. This opportunity combines a nationally recognised qualification, practical workplace experience, and a pathway to permanent employment in pharmaceutical sales.
🎯 Programme Objective
The main goal of the learnership is to equip unemployed life science graduates with an occupation-specific qualification, while providing hands-on, real-world workplace experience.
The ultimate aim is to increase the marketability of the learner within the pharmaceutical industry, enabling graduates to secure permanent positions as Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives (PSR) after successful completion.
📋 Learnership Overview
- Duration: 12 months, combining theory (contact sessions) and practical workplace experience
- Provider: Masoom Training Solutions (CHIETA Accredited Training Provider)
- Assessment: Knowledge, practical, and workplace competencies assessed via Portfolios of Evidence (PoE) submitted to CHIETA
- Workplace Learning: Shadowing, mentoring, and guidance from experienced Medical Sales personnel
- Integration: Learners are incorporated into an active sales team during the programme
- Stipend: R6,500 – R10,000 per month for the duration of the learnership
- Employment Terms: Learners are required to adhere to programme rules and sign a 12-month contract
- Qualification: Upon demonstrating competency in all PoE, CHIETA will award a National Certificate (PSR)
✅ Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be African South African citizens
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Physiology, Anatomy, Genetics, Sports Science, or Biotechnology
- Possess a valid South African driver’s license (essential)
- Commit fully to the 12-month programme
- Be confident, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and professional skills
- Be proficient in PC literacy, including MS Office, email, and internet
- Show a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Understand professional and business etiquette
